Where do I start with this amazing couple? Victoria and Adam took a chance and flew me to Christchurch simply because I’d shot at their wedding venue before, and aside from our email conversations, I didn’t know too much about them… until I was completely and utterly immersed in a day that not only reflected their love for each other, but their love for their families and culture in equal measure.
I was welcomed in a way that I can’t put words to; but I know it was a privilege to witness, feel and experience such openness and warmth. It was special and personal, something which I know I’ll never forget.
It’s weddings like these that keep me going through those long hot summer months where to be honest, you sacrifice your own personal life to document other’s. The thank you note Victoria and Adam sent me still has pride of place on my wall, all these months later. That’s why this post is a long one. Trust me, it’s more than worth it!
